Whitney Benefits, established in 1927 in Sheridan, Wyoming, honors the legacy of Edward A. Whitney, who bequeathed his fortune to enrich his community. The organization provides interest-free student loans, supports educational programs at Sheridan College, and maintains Whitney Commons Park for community enjoyment. With nearly $100 million granted to Sheridan College and $16 million for community improvements, Whitney Benefits is committed to fostering educational opportunities and enhancing the quality of life for its beneficiaries while adhering to the highest fiduciary standards.

Student Loans
The Whitney Benefits student loan program provides interest-free student loans to Sheridan and Johnson County high school graduates.
Whitney Benefits uses an online student loan application process. Undergraduate and vocational students may be eligible to borrow a credit limit up to $24,000, graduate students may be eligible to borrow up to $40,000 per academic year.
