The holiday season is here, and it has always been my favorite time of year. Perhaps it’s because it brings people together. It’s always so uplifting to hear stories of people coming together to help those who need it most.

I believe that each one of us has been blessed with unique gifts, talents, and opportunities, and that it is both a privilege and a responsibility to use these things to be of service to others. When we commit ourselves to service, we help strengthen the fabric of our community.

My name is Robert Prusak and I am a Trustee of Whitney Benefits.  Throughout my time these past twelve years working for Mr. Whitney, I have seen many exciting changes in Sheridan, surrounding counties and in Wyoming as we grow and prosper.  This trend is however not new as there has been impressive growth and development for more than 100 years since Mr. Edward A. Whitney was a banker and leader in the community.

College enrollment trends are strikingly different today than they were thirty years ago. Recent data from the National Center for Education Statistics indicates students are increasingly choosing alternatives other than a traditional four-year college degree.
